Volunteers of Legal Guide

Legal Guide is highly supportive of the involvement of volunteers in the implementation of its projects and measures. It is possible to volunteer with the following of Legal Guide's projects:

1. Legal projects, including domestic and/or European protection of Human Rights;

2. Website projects, including translation and edition of website materials and files;

3. Other fields as applicable.

Since 2004, Legal Guide has had four volunteers (Click here for references from the volunteers of Legal Guide). Becoming a volunteer of Legal Guide will:

  • Improve your knowledge of the European and domestic human rights protection mechanisms;
  • Provide you with new opportunities for involvement in the preparation of and participation in the trainings on the European Human Rights Protection Mechanisms conducted by the Legal Guide;
  • Provide you with opportunities to participate in the development of the Applications to be submitted to the European Court (Click here for getting familiar with the Confidentiality statement);
  • Provide you with opportunities to become familiar with day to day developments, resources and materials on the European mechanisms for the protection of human rights;
  • Provide you with opportunities for direct work and communication with specialized ECHR and domestic lawyers, which will allow you gaining more knowledge and practice on your area of interests;
  • Provide with you opportunities to familiarise yourself with the terminology of the European Court and the relevant mechanisms;
  • Other relevant benefits.
