Legal Guide is an Armenian Non-Governmental organization for the promotion of the respect towards and the protection of human rights in Armenia by law and litigation before the European Court of Human Rights. Legal Guide also works for

• Meeting the demand for frequent, fast, equal and easy dissemination of ECHR related information, materials and effective human rights protection mechanisms amongst the legal professionals through the Republic of Armenia

The European Court has declared admissible the Case of Sargsyan v Azerbaijan

The Armenian versions of the statement of facts and the press release of the case of Sargsyan v Azerbaijan are available

On 15 September 2010 the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) held a public hearing on the case of Sargsyan v. Azerbaijan (No. 40167/06). The case was submitted to the ECtHR by “Legal Guide” NGO on 11 August 2006. On 11 March 2010 the Chamber decided to relinquish jurisdiction in favour of the Grand Chamber in accordance with Article 30 of the Convention. The english version of the statement of facts of the case of Sargsyan v Azerbaijan and the Press release issued by the Registrar have already been posted on the website of Legal Guide.
