Members of Legal Guide

Members of Legal Guide are advocates practicing law before the domestic courts and the European Court of Human Rights, lawyers and human rights defenders, including legal entities, working in the field of the Domestic and European protection of human rights, who share the aims and objectives of Legal Guide (Click here for more information about the aims and objectives of Legal Guide).

By becoming a member of Legal Guide you will be able to:

• Participate in the projects and programs of Legal Guide;
  
• Use resources on the European Convention on Human Rights and other materials available with Legal Guide;
  
• Work with qualified ECHR and domestic lawyers to enhance his/her practical skills and knowledge;
  
• Publish articles, materials and documents relevant to the aims and objectives of Legal Guide developed by members in the website of Legal Guide;
  
• Seek day to day professional advice and expertise from qualified ECHR and domestic lawyers;
  
• Be informed of daily developments in European and domestic human rights protection through educational and informative resources and mechanisms;
  
• Have other professional benefits, such as training opportunities on ECHR mechanisms and practices, local legislation reforms and other relevant trainings;
  
• Other relevant benefits and opportunities.

Given the specifics of the activities of the Legal Guide, there are certain procedural and professional requirements which will be assessed while deciding on acceptance of the membership application.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Legal Guide please read the attached “Regulations regarding membership and membership payments of “Legal Guide” Non-Governmental Organization” (Membership Regulations) and submit this membership form (Click here for the membership form) and other required documents set forth in the Regulations to Legal Guide. Legal Guide will pass a decision on your membership application in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Membership Regulations.
